Machining grooves in the main saddle is crucial when it comes to providing sufficient oil to the connecting rods.
When used in tandem with GTI-R main bearings, these grooves provide the main journals with 270deg of oil supply to the connecting rod bearings. This means that you're providing a near constant oil supply throughout the engine's rotation - resulting in far greater reliability in the upper RPM range.
Cost includes groove machining as well as machining of the bearing tang slots to permit proper fitment of GTI-R main bearings. (Bearings not included - Shipping billed separately)
Please be sure to package your block sufficiently - this means being able to be dropped off the back of a truck without sustaining damage (because they probably will)
